Bring Knowhow believes in a positive approach to coaching. Areas for development certainly deserve attention, but making full use of existing potential is more effective.
My coaching is based on the TMA methodology. Its foundations lie in the work of Henry Alexander Murray, the American psychologist who played a key role in the development of personality theory. He is best known for his theory of needs and motives, which holds that human behaviour is driven by individual needs.
Talents: the building blocks of personality
Talents strongly influence how people behave and how they can develop, and they largely shape someone’s personality. The TMA methodology identifies 44 talents, several of which everyone possesses. Talents are closely linked to drivers: the intrinsic motivation behind our behaviour, actions and decisions. Drivers are what energise and inspire us to pursue particular goals or meet particular needs.
